1. Introduction

This is the FitnessCollection Privacy Policy and we welcome you to read it through thoroughly. Please note that in order to provide you with the FitnessCollection Service (or “Service”, both defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use), FitnessCollection AB (“FitnessCollection”, “we”, “us”, “our”) needs to ask for and collect some information about you. This Privacy Policy is where we describe the information that we collect, what we do with this information, and how you can manage and control the use of your information. By using or in other ways interacting with the Service that FitnessCollection provide, you are entering into a binding legal contract with FitnessCollection and consenting to the use of your information as explained in this document. In the case you don’t agree with these terms, please refrain from using the Service.

2. What type of information we collect

2.1 Registration input data

When you have signed up for the Service, we may collect the information that we ask you for. The basics are your username, password, e-mail address, gender, postal code, and country. For registration after 25th of May 2018 we require you to approval of our GDPR policy and confirm age over 18. For registration before 25th of May 2018 we’ve sent out information regarding your personal details and data.

If you connect to the Service via your Facebook login credentials, you authorize us to collect your authentication information. This includes your Facebook username, encrypted access credentials, and other information that may be available on or through your Facebook account, including your name, profile picture, country, hometown, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, friends’ names and profile pictures and networks. We may store this information so that it can be used for the purposes explained in Section 3 and may verify your credentials with Facebook.

When you continue using the FitnessCollection Service your personal data onto your account such as, booking history, device identifier and personal contact details will be saved. In an ongoing effort to improve our Service, additional personal data may be collected from you. In that case, we will notify you when the personal data collection takes place.

2.2 Usage, log data & cookies

When you use the Service, we automatically collect certain information, including: (i) information about your type of subscription and interactions with the Service, advertising, products and services which are offered, linked to or made available on the Service; (ii) the details of the queries you make; (iii) User Content you post, upload and/or contribute to the Service; (iv) technical data, which may include the URL you are coming from, your IP address, unique device ID, network and computer performance, browser type, language and identifying information, transactional information enabling digital rights management, operating system, and FitnessCollection application version; and (v) location information. In the case you have connected your account to Facebook, we may receive similar information related to your interactions with the Service on Facebook. You acknowledge that FitnessCollection is allowed to use cookies and similar technologies to collect this information and you can learn more about such use at the bottom of this Privacy Policy. We are allowed to store this information so that it can be used for the purposes explained in Section 3 of this document.

2.3 Payment data

When you sign up for a Trial or any of ourpaid Subscriptions (as defined in the Terms and Conditions of Use), or make other purchases through the Service, your credit card information and other data that we need to process your payment are collected and stored by third party payment processors. We may collect some limited information, such as your postal code, mobile number and details of your transaction history. Also note that a third party payment processors generally provide us with some limited information related to you, such as a unique token that enables you to make additional purchases using the information they’ve stored, and your card’s type, expiration date, and last four digits.

2.4 Promotions

From time to time, we may offer you the chance to participate in certain promotional campaigns such as sweepstakes, contests, and surveys (“Promotions”) through the Service. A Promotion may be governed by a privacy policy and/or terms and conditions that are separate from this Privacy Policy and the Terms and Conditions of Use). If the provisions of the Promotion’s privacy policy or terms and conditions conflict with this Privacy Policy or the Terms and Conditions of Use, those separate terms and conditions or privacy policy shall prevail. If you participate in a Promotion, we may ask you for certain personal information in addition to what is stated in this Privacy Policy. That additional information may be combined with other account information and may be used and shared as described in this Privacy Policy.

3. How we use the information we collect

We may use the information we collect, including your personal information, to: (i) provide, personalize, and improve your experience with the Service and products and services made available through the Service, for example by providing customized or localized content and advertising; (ii) ensure technical functioning of the Service and products and services made available through the Service, develop new products and services, and analyze your use of the Service, including your interaction with applications, advertising, products and services that are made available, linked to or offered in the Service; (iii) communicate with you for Service-related purposes, including promotional e-mails or messages; (iv) enable and promote the Service, including features and content of the Service and products and services made available through the Service, such as sharing, user interactions, notifications and suggestions, and integration with third party services; (v) enforce this Privacy Policy, the Terms and Conditions of Use, including to protect the rights, property or safety of FitnessCollection, users or any other person and the copyright-protected content of the Service; and (vi) as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy.

4. How we share the information we collect

We may share the information we collect, including your personal information. The following describes how this is performed:

4.1 Sharing with Third Party Applications

In order to personalize your experience of the Service, we may share some information we have collected about you with providers of Third Party Applications, such as high-level geographic information, your content preferences, settings and technical data. FitnessCollection will take the necessary precautions to prohibit Third Party Application providers from attempting to identify you by using the information we provide to them or by collecting additional information without your consent.

4.2 Service providers and others

You acknowledge and approve that we from time to time may share your information with certain trusted business partners and third party service providers in order for them to perform functions and process user data on our behalf, in accordance with section 3 (see above). We also reserve the right to share said information with possible future companies within the FitnessCollection Group. Such third parties’ processing of user data will always be subject to security and confidentiality obligations consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law(s).

4.3 Other sharing

In addition to the above, we may also share your information to third parties for the following limited purposes:

to allow a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets;
to respond to legal process, if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to do so; to comply with requirements of mandatory applicable law; to protect the safety of any person; to protect the rights and property of FitnessCollection, including to enforce the Terms and Conditions of Use and Mobile Terms; and to address fraud, security or technical issues;
to allow other companies in the FitnessCollection Group to use your information as specified in this Privacy Policy;
to inform business partners about use of the Service and products and services made available through the Service, in the form of aggregated statistics or otherwise in a format which does not reveal your identity; and
in the case you expressly opt in to such sharing.
You understand and agree that the privacy policies of third parties will govern all use of information that we provide to them under this section.


You hereby consent to FitnessCollection using all your personal data for profiling and marketing purposes via emails, notifications, or other messages, by FitnessCollection. Profiling will be used for marketing purposes to enable personalized and relevant offers to you, based on your preferences of using our service. We will communicate with you by email and notices posted on your mobile device. If you do not wish to receive notices on your mobile device, you can always turn off this service.

Marketing will only be sent to you by FitnessCollection; no personal data will be transferred to third parties for marketing purposes (other than possibly to service providers on assignment by FitnessCollection, however these providers do not have any rights to use the data for any other purposes than to what they have been assigned to, on behalf of FitnessCollection).

5. Your preferences

Through your settings, you can choose which communications you receive from us. However, please note that it may not be possible to make certain information private on the Service, including your name and/or username, and other basic information.

6. Transfer to other countries

FitnessCollection may processes information about our users on servers located in a number of countries. This means that we may share your information with other future companies created within the FitnessCollection Group for the purpose of these companies carrying out any of the activities specified in this Privacy Policy. FitnessCollection may also subcontract processing to or share your information with third parties located in countries, other than your home country. Information collected within the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and Switzerland may, for example, be transferred to, and processed by companies in the FitnessCollection Group or other third parties identified above, located in a country outside of the EEA and Switzerland, where you may have fewer legal rights in relation to your information. However, the FitnessCollection Group will only process your information as described in this Privacy Policy in every country. You acknowledge and give your consent to use your information as defined in this section 6.

7. Links

We may display advertisements from third parties and other content which links to third party websites. We cannot control or be held responsible for third parties’ privacy practices and content. Please read their privacy policies to find out how they collect and process your personal information.

8. Security

We are committed to protect our users’ information as defined in this Privacy Policy. Please note that your password aims to protect your user account, please use a unique and strong password, limit access to your computer and browser and finally sign off after having used the FitnessCollection Service. While we take reasonable data protection precautions, no security measures are completely secure, and we do not guarantee the security of user information at any time.


GDPR gives you a number of rights as an individual. For example, you have the rights to get information on how and why FitnessCollection processes your personal information. You can read more about this in FitnessCollection’s Membership policy and GDPR Policy, and you can also contact FitnessCollection to request information.

Control over data

When using the FitnessCollection app, FitnessCollection is the data controller of your personal information. For example, this means that FitnessCollection has the responsibility to process your personal information in accordance with GDPR.

The right to be forgotten

For purposes of clarity, you are entitled to terminate your FitnessCollection account at any time. To be able to “Delete account” contact FitnessCollection support. FitnessCollection will then delete or anonymise any personal information that can be attributed to you, except for certain information that FitnessCollection by law may have to save and archive. Data portability

FitnessCollection will from the 25th of May 2018 offer data portability. Data portability means that you have the rights to access your personal data that we have processed when you used the FitnessCollection app. You also have the option at any given time chose opt-out from receiving any further message from FitnessCollection. 10. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please visit this Privacy Policy regularly. If we make changes which we believe are material, we will inform you through the Service or in via some other suitable way, for instance via e-mail. If you continue to use the Service after having received the updated changes in the Privacy Policy you have expressed your acceptance of the changes.

11. Information about cookies & similar technologies

What are cookies and similar technologies?

A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer, mobile phone, or other device when you visit a website. The cookie will help website providers to recognize your device the next time you visit their website. There are other similar technologies such as pixel tags, web bugs, web storage and other similar files and technologies that can also do the same thing as cookies. FitnessCollection uses the term ”cookies” in this policy to refer to cookies and all such similar technologies that collect information in this way.

FitnessCollection Ads
